History: The Redmond Family lived in the small town of Opal, Missouri. Chase had shown signs of Metahuman potential but such as witnessed Barbara Gordon being shot by Joker. The Redmonds kept telling Chase what he saw was just his imagination. They then began locking him in a closet until he promised to stop seeing things.
Eventually running away from home, he found himself in Metropolis. When a armed robbery was taking place intervened and used his Molecular Deccelartionation so the hostages could escape but he himself was traped but luckily Superman(Conner Kent) saves him and taking a interest in the boy takes him on as a protage.
