Alright, let me start this off by getting right to the point. If you havent noticed it yet, I have some marvelous news for you. KAP. IS. BACK.
Or something like that. If you look at my message wall, he reached out to me. Well, actually he identified himself as Le Kaptain, but I'm pretty sure I know what that means. So, if you remember, it's been almost exactly a year (I'm writing this at 2:30 AM on December 31st and Kap's Blog was written on December 30th last year, so close enough) since Kap tragically left us, declaring leave via this blog here. But no reason to get sad over that, like I said, it seems like he really is back!
Despite the fact that we are all somewhat inactive, some more than others (*cough* GE *cough*), over these past few months we have all been much more active than during the rest of the year. And that is very good news. Anyways, can I just adress the fact that it's almost been a whole year since last Winter? Since the good ol double wedding between James, Kassidy, Hawk and Whats-her-name?
Now, I reccomend that, to celebrate another year of happy roleplaying, you do the samething I have been doing. READ. NEIL. GAIMAN'S. THE. SANDMAN! Seriously, it's known as the best comic series of all time and for good reason. The main attraction of my plethora of presents this Christmas was Volumes 1-4 of Niel Gaiman's the Sandman. Despite owning a collection of more than 490 comic books published from 1972-the presend day, these are undoubtedly the best I have ever read (well, actually they're tied with the John Constantine series, but they take place in the same universe and often appear in eachother's adventures, so I count them as one and the same). So, pull out your Christmas cash and before you exhaust it, roll onto amazon and buy some of these beauties.
